I have been coming to Lentz for years to get service on my vehicle, and at this point, I wouldn’t go anywhere else! They are incredibly professional, skilled, and have some of the highest levels of integrity I’ve seen in the repair industry. So grateful that places like this still exist in the world!!

Great service - I'm so glad I came here, they saved me a ton of money! My Camry Hybrid's AC wasn't working, and I took it to two different shops which both said they didn't have the expertise to address it because it's a hybrid. Then I took it to Ervine's, which charged me $300 to identify the problem and then quoted me about $2550 to fix it and address other car maintenance. That seemed high so I got another quote from Lentz, who inspected the car and told me that a bunch of the work Ervine's had suggested wasn't actually needed. They took care of of the rest for only $1100 and now it's working great.

I broke a bolt on my car trying to change my brakes. Limped the car in and they were able to fit me in and fix the broken bolt and install new rotors and pads in the front. They did me a solid on short notice and were super chill about it all. I think I found my new shop.

These guys are straight up KINGS. I took my car in because it was wobbling a bit, they told me the control arm wasn't doing so hot, and would need to be replaced. I finally got the funds to do this, and they did a courtesy check on some of the other issues while looking at it, and told me that it would hold for longer, but my front breaks going into the winter were a way bigger concern, and since I have limited funds, I should pivot to that. One price comparison later, and we can see that their prices are super fair. So, they could've jerked me around, they could have told me that my problems were waaaay more dire to pressure me into getting the fix done ahead of time. Instead they have been incredible straight shooters. They get the work done fast. The prices are good. And they've helped with a few little things without batting an eye. I also had them do a pre-sale checkup on a car I was about to buy, but the wonkiness of it lead to some weird requests from them, and they were crazy willing to accommodate them. I'm not trying to throw them under the bus with unreasonable expectations you'll get the same result, but this just goes back to how much they aren't trying to overcharge

It can be hard to find a repair shop that balances quality work with timeliness, but Lentz on Michigan Street thoroughly impressed me with their service. I had an urgent need for a major exhaust repair after damaging mine on a camping trip up north last summer. They were able to get my 4Runner in the following day, and provide an honest diagnosis and estimate that involved replacing the muffler and tailpipe. I also requested that they spot-weld some corroded flanges/connections further up the exhaust system. They had all this done the same day and for an honest price, and everything has held up well. Would recommend if you are in need of exhaust work in the Grand Rapids area.
